HOMIDEC: a home where everything has a bay
HOMIDEC builds modular storage around one repeating cube: organizers, shoe walls, clothes racks, drying frames and desks that assemble in an evening and rebuild for the next apartment.
One flagship from every shelf

Five shelves, one module logic
Every shelf here shares the same discipline: steel where it counts, panels where it packs, and assembly you do not need to schedule.
Ten reasons a HOMIDEC build works the way it does
The 11.8-inch cube is the system: six make a bench, nine a sideboard, sixteen a wall. Learn it once and every room in the flat speaks the same language.
Cube kits assemble with the included hammer and nothing else. A first 9-cube build takes about forty-five minutes; the second takes half that.
Panels pack flat, frames unbolt, and the same parts rebuild to fit the next apartment’s completely different wall. Storage that moves when you do.
Every build hangs its strength on steel: tube frames under the desks and racks, wire grids in the mesh units, metal connectors in the cube walls.
The AAP’s tip-over guidance is part of our instructions, not an afterthought: heavy things in the low bays, and any tall build strapped to the wall.
Nothing on this site needs two people or a free weekend. One evening builds the cube wall; the racks and desks are an hour with hand tools.
Open bays for what your eyes should find, fabric bins and magnetic doors for what they should not. Every system here mixes both.
Hallway cabinets hold 48 pairs at about a foot deep; racks put two rails in one footprint. Small homes are the design brief, not an edge case.
The ratings on this site are counted from real buyers per model and printed with the count. Models we have not counted show no stars at all.
Prices are figures from our latest scheduled update, dated once on the methods page. Anything unpriced says so plainly instead of guessing.

What buyers say once it is built
8 verified-purchase reviews from across the shelves, printed as written.
“I built mine 5 wide and 3 high across the entire length of the closet and left room on top so I can still hang things above it. With each cube measuring 11.8” in height and width, I was able to fit 10 pairs of jeans in one cube alone and 20 t-shirts in another. Super easy to put together and it doesn’t need to be built any one way.”

“Easy to assemble, lightweight and super sturdy when put together correctly. Be sure you hear it 'click' into the connectors. It is very sturdy, but comes with zip ties to really make sure it is stable. I did two cubes as base, then five tall, set it corner of closet and it is very stable. It stores a lot. The shelves seem to be sturdy and I see NO sagging.”

“This drying rack is huge and holds all of my family's laundry without any issues. It took me less than ten minutes to put together, which was a nice surprise. I love that it has wheels so I can easily roll it around the house or out onto the patio. It feels really sturdy and folds right up when I'm done, saving me a ton of space.”

“Super easy to assemble, took about one minute per box, I wear size 11 in mens and the sneakers (even Hightops) fit upright. The boxes are very sturdy and I can pick them up in a stack of 5 (with the shoes inside) no problem.”

“It was very easy to snap together, and the modular design allowed me to set it up perfectly for my entryway. It holds an impressive number of shoes (easily fits over 30 pairs!) and the plastic material is very easy to wipe clean. I love that it has doors to cover the shoes, which instantly makes the whole hallway look so much neater and dust-free.”

The American Academy of Pediatrics is unambiguous about tip-overs: most deaths involve children under six, and the fix is anchoring tall units with hardware that costs a few dollars. We repeat that duty on every tall build we sell instead of hoping you skip the manual.
Energy Star's home tips price the dryer habit in real dollars: an extra fifteen minutes per load can cost up to $34 a year, a dirty lint trap about the same, and hot water is roughly 90 percent of a washer's energy. Our racks are the zero-drum alternative; the numbers behind the argument are theirs.
